  There is no question that the mother was not very reliable witness and weirdo to. Her and MJ deserved each other and MJ deserves all the bad publicity for his bad decisions. I still go back to MJ own words about not thinking there was anything wrong with allowing 13 year olds to sleep with him. He was opening himself up to liable actions. It will be interesting to see that even though he has been found not guilty criminally, he may still be found liable if the boys parents want to pursue it.

  No the ydid not say NO COLLEGE - bu the drama was all about Timothy not going to Athens for a college education but instead doing full-time ministry. He did this and got praise from Lois and Eunice and the apsotle Paul. So the messsage was strongly No College even though they did not actually say no college

  Typical Jdub double speak. This way they can say that the society never said we shouldn't get a collage education but it is obvious what the message they want the rank and file dub to get. They told me the same thing 30 years ago and I put off my education because the end was so near and an education was not need. I am now at a point where it won't be too many more years and I will be retired. My life hasn't been a waste as I took part time studies and have a decent job but no thanks to the WT. It may not be the job of my dreams but I enjoy what I do and it pays well.

  If it wasn't for MJ high paid lawyers, he would have been hung out to dry. If the average person were to use the MJ defence from MJ own words "that it is only natural to sleep together", they would be found guilty with no questions. Technically you are right, there is nothing wrong with just sleeping with a minor child but in this day and age with all the freaks out there it is not acceptable behaviour.

  I also agree with you that the children's parents should be held accountable for allowing their child to sleep in MJ room but you are opening up another can worms. By saying they endangered their child is admitting that there was a lot more going on there than just innocent sleep overs.

  The little freak was not guilty, no surprise. The consensus from the different commentators was that the prosecution didn't prove their case. I am just afraid of the precedence that has been set with this decision. From now on it is OK for an adult to let minor children sleep with them because MJ did it. Also all those people that stood out the court house holding up signs made me sick. I wonder how many of them would let their kids sleep with MJ?

  I guess CNN/FOX news will be forced to report on some real news....

  the local needs talk on thursday discussed a few different things, according to my mom.

  but the one that stood out most was that he announced that based on the new book, the elders will be checking on those that have not been associating with the congregation for some time.

  they will ask, "do you still want to be a jehovah's witness?

  I think any response other than I have no comment and you will be DF/DA. I like the response, "I have no comment because it is between me and Jehovah." This must be some legal strategy concocted by JR Brown (noser) in response to all the faders. The borg wants to control all information flow and with too many faders and the internet they are not able to control the information like the good old days before the internet. I feel this will be their undoing. Sure they will keep all the hard line jdubs in check but there are a lot of fringe dubs that this policy will push them the other way.

  Glad to know Jehobah is such a loving God....

  It is a sad state when our news media has no time to report on whether the President falsified information to take the nation to war but is more concerned on whither Michael Jackson is found guilty or not for diddlling young boys. You are correct it should be investigated to find out if the story is true or not. If true GW should be held accountable for sending young men and women to their deaths on a lie. I mean a President was impeached for a lot less by having a BJ in the oval office.

  That is good that someone is listening for a change. Though it makes me wonder what type of investigative reporting the producers did when they only got one side of the story. Hopefully they will followup, update and include that in their documentary.

  District Assembly eating rules....

  during our district assembly which will be held at a coliseum, we were told not to go outside during the intermission, and not eat in restaurants near by.

  we were told to bring our own food and eat inside the coliseum.

  usually, the coliseum offers hot dogs and hamburgers and drinks, but the brothers refused this service.. .

  I remember years ago when I went I was still attending the DC. My children were very young then. I would go over to the local KFC, buy a few snack packs and deliberately bring them back to the convention center. My one son and I would eat them in front of the other dubs. Some of the family friends would look at us like we were Satan himself because we were going against the WT. Like you said, who feels like eating cold sandwiches and drinking warm pop after 3 hours of boring talks? I am now thinking back and I know KFC wasn't the wisest choice I could have made then.

  Elsewhere I also like your letter to your family. Its the first time I have read it but it is good the way you through the guilt right back at them. You have done nothing wrong, they are the ones in the wrong. Have they ever responded to you on the letter?
